For so long people have viewed yoga as a destination. “I am going to yoga. I have to go to yoga.” But as we are on a total wellness journey I want to encourage students to think of yoga as always there instead of going there.

With that in mind I put together a schedule that helps with this thinking.

In addition to the live classes offered to our members we have the following courses available, ready and waiting for you:

Gentle classes are on Tuesdays.
I consider it “Ease into the Week.”

Wednesdays are Hip & Back practices.
They fit under the Moderate Category, yet we explore the full range of motion available to us in those integral parts of the body.

Thursdays are Bone Density Building classes.
A little more expert, in this class we will focus on placing non-threatening stress on the bones we’re likely to fall upon to cause them to rebuild (skull, jaw, vertebrae, ribs, breastbone, collarbones [most frequently broken bones in the body], shoulder blades, pelvis and those vulnerable thighbones, which have weak spots built into them).

Fridays are “Strengthuous;”.
An upper body/abdominal challenge. It falls under the category of “Strength-Building.” It’s intense but deliciously rewarding. (You can eat that piece of dessert with joy and confidence because you earned it!)

Saturdays, I call “Smorgasbord.”
I consider it “Moderate.” I mix up the practice to be Moderate, but place emphasis on specific concerns du jour (you did study French, right?).
